Jeff & Eric Versus The 80’s

Everyone has their favorite decade for things such as style, movies, and music. For most, it’s the decade they grew up in as a teenager, or maybe their time spent in college. For many of those considered Generation X and the older range of Millennials, the 80s were a time of magic and wonder. Big hair, glam rock, synth-pop, and bodacious language hold a special place in their hearts. While you may or may not be familiar with Tunechart, you have probably heard of Flickchart, a place allowing you to rank all the movies you’ve seen, as well as discover what others consider the best. Tunechart takes what was considered the best songs from different charts such as Billboard, as well as nominees from those participating, and then has everyone vote as songs battle each other to become the number one song of the decade.

While there have been tournaments for the best songs of generations previously, for the first time ever there is going to be a podcast that coincides with it. Not only will each episode of Jeff & Eric Versus The 80s contain predictions and opinions on the songs, you’ll also learn fun factoids of each, and hear personal memories tied to each one. There isn’t a determined length for each episode, but you can expect them to be around 90 minutes long (the initial being 138).
