Legrand Legacy, the nostalgic love letter to classic JRPGs from publisher Another Indie and developer SEMISOFT, will arrive on Steam for Windows on January 24th, 2018. It will release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Q1 2019.

There are plenty of games these days that pine for the “good old days” of JRPGs, mainly because all the AAA developers are trying to evolve the genre into something new. SquareEnix does understand this, as seen with their creation of Tokyo RPG Factory, as well as their partnership with Silicon Studio. But those all go for a different aesthetic, whereas this digs into the gritty 90s PlayStation JRPGs. We’re talking semi-normal quest to saving the world real quickly, as seen below.
